Enchanted Quill is a three page responsive website I designed for my Web Design class at George Mason University. The assignment required creating both desktop and mobile versions of a fully prototyped site in Figma. I developed an online spell book store that delivers a magical book for every witch’s occasion, complete with a homepage, a discounted cursed book feature page (The Velvet Oath), and a customer portal for users who have been cursed.
Using Figma’s prototype tools, I built interactive elements such as a sliding carousel for browsing discounted books and hover effects that make text glow or fade. To make the sire feel more lively as if the view just stumbled across a magical corner of the internet.
The final result was a fully functional prototype that demonstrated clear UX thinking, cohesive visual design, and smooth interaction flow. This project strengthened my skills in responsive design, prototyping, and creating playful, narrative driven digital experiences.
